A nutritious dairy-free milk that is super easy to make!
You have to try this 30-second nut milk! It is a very convenient alternative to making traditional almond milk and it is so much easier. Soaking, straining, and squeezing is not required. All you need is almond butter, filtered water, and a blender. That’s it! When I started making my own almond milk I would usually make a huge mess. I bought cheese cloths and nut bags, and squeezed and pressed but I just found them too time consuming and messy. That’s why this recipe is perfect, especially for anyone who is in a hurry or doesn’t want to mess around with nut bags.
*Almond milk only lasts in the fridge for a few days so only make what you need and drink up!
Health Warning! This almond milk may help…
Keep skin healthy (vitamin E, antioxidants)
Lower LDL cholesterol (rich in healthy fats)
Keep blood pressure in check (magnesium)
Regulate blood sugar levels (low carbs, healthy fat, protein, fiber)
Almonds offer amazing antioxidant action from vitamin E that helps lower cholesterol and is important for protecting the skin from free-radical damage and inflammation. The fat-soluble antioxidants found in vitamin E tend to build up in cell membranes in the body, protecting cells from oxidative damage.
And guess whats high in magnesium? Yep, you guessed it: almonds are! Just one cup of almond milk will supply you with 10% of you daily magnesium intake, making it a perfect choice for anyone who needs to keep a check on their blood sugar levels.
