A morning energizer to help you take on the day!
Dance. Dance. Dance.
Yes, I am dancing around my living room at 10 o’clock in the morning! Why? Because I’ve had my Matcha Smoothie Bowl! It’s my morning energizer and mood booster, not that I need help feeling energized or happy, but when I have matcha, I’m at a whole new level of craziness. If I’m having a down day my daughter will offer me my favourite matcha beverage because she knows the minute I have it, I’m DANCING!! And any attempts to slow me down are thrown out the window because I’ve been sent into a super speed that will last all morning, without a crash.
Health warning! This matcha smoothie may…
Raise your energy levels.
Alkalize your body.
Regulate blood sugar levels
Boost metabolism and help control body weight.
Supply you with an abundance of antioxidants.
Hello, matcha! Don’t you love it when you can use something natural to boost your metabolism and burn fat? That’s what matcha does! It may even help burn calories up to four times more than without, especially if you are exerting energy. Bring on the dancing! While this smoothie naturally contains caffeine from the matcha, the energy boost you get from it is largely due to its natural nutritional properties. Caffeine does play a part in the rise of energy, but with the powerful amino acid effect of L-theanine it helps to relax the mind and keep you focused.
And it doesn’t end there. Matcha contains a unique and potent antioxidant known as catechins, which help protect the body against free radicals, cancer, radiation, and chemicals that can lead to DNA damage. I always knew I liked unique!
Caution: If you are oversensitive to caffeine then replace matcha with your favourite green powder.
