When two aphrodisiacs join forces, the result is LOVE.
Sometimes all you need in life is to share a smoothie bowl with your sweetie! Am I right? Who wouldn’t want to feed each other a bowl of pink goodness filled with sexy summer fruit and romantic roses?! Haha, okay maybe it’s a girl thing…
To be honest, feeding each other smoothies is something Chris and I have never done, but we’ve made them together. Mind you, they usually turn out green which is not romantic at all unless you’re into that sort of thing. Obviously, around Valentine’s Day I prefer a pretty in pink smoothie bowl that has it all! Substance, a velvety smooth texture, nutrition, and yummy toppings to make it beautiful!
When made right, smoothies provide you with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fiber, protein, and water – this is something a cream cheese bagel couldn’t deliver. Plus they will keep you feeling light and energized enough to do other things than want to sleep (wink wink).
I’ve chosen some middle eastern ingredients, with the added raspberries to give it an extra burst of flavour. Soaking cashews softens them and helps neutralize the phytic acid that makes nuts difficult to digest. It also gives your smoothie a velvety smooth consistency which makes it taste sooo good! The tartness of raspberries combined with a subtle splash of rosewater make a perfect pairing.
Health Warning! This Raspberry Rosewater Smoothie Bowl is…

Get in the mood with raspberries – The powerful nutrients found in raspberries carry cardiovascular effects to enhance thoughts, actions, and performance. They contain a number of compounds, which help your body feel frisky. Packed with fiber and slow releasing energy, you will be guaranteed to keep your stamina up. They contain zinc, which is a key nutrient to stimulating libido. Zinc regulates testosterone, vital for sperm production in men, and helps women get in the mood by enhancing their sex drive.
Calm your mind with rosewater – According to Ayurveda practitioners, rose petals are very effective in helping a person feel sexually active. It helps to calm the mind and nervous system making a person more responsive to touch. When your mind is calm and revitalized you and your partner will become more sexually active.
